Before we get into the Bath of the Queen Giovanna, let us start by giving you three restaurant recommendations.
First: lanticatrattoria.com This is a must. I cannot say it enough. Get dinner reservations as soon as you know you will be in Sorrento. It is one of the best places in the area. We highly recommend you all get different dishes so you can share with each other. There is so much to choose from.
Second: ristorantefuoro.com Again, too many dishes to choose from. Have everyone order a different dish so you can share.
Third: ristorantefuoro.com Order the grilled pulpo with cream sauce. It is to die for.
Let’s talk about the Bath of Queen Giovanna. I personally do not think it is worth it to get a cab there. The cab cannot even drop you off right in front of the shore. You will still have to hike it down for around 10 minutes. I highly recommend taking the local bus. It cost ONLY 1.20 euro a person or a 20 euro cab ride for 3 minutes. Whatever you do, DO NOT wear flip flops. Wear sneakers. When you get there down, you will have to climb down rocks and boulders.
Once you are down there, there are around 3 different spots to choose from. There is one spot, which we feel is the safest and the calmest. When you find yourself in front of the ruins with the graffiti, look to your right and you will see a beaten path. Go that way. If you want to go to the open waters, keep going, you will find the way.
Have fun. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We love to help out.

Sneakers sound like a great idea for walking any distance. Looks beautiful.
Yes! No flip flops! You will regret it.
Thank you for the bus tip! The Bath of Queen Giovanna looks great!
Wow – this place sounds amazing! I would love to visit.
Sorrento was my favorite destination when I visited Europe. It was so beautiful. Unfortunately, our itinerary did not include these baths. They look amazing!
I hope you get to go back and check them out!
I was reading this post, and my nine-year-old was sitting next to me. I asked her if she wanted to swim here. She said, “heck yeah!” Maybe someday. It is really beautiful.
I hope she gets the chance!
Sounds great, thanks for the tips!
Sorrento is on my list so will definitely save these recommendations!
I can’t wait to go to Italy!
Great tips to take the bus and not wear flip flops. Thanks!

Beautiful sparkly water! It looks like so much fun too!
It was so much fun. Thanks.
That looks so beautiful, the water is a ridiculous clear, green, blue color. So worth and great tip about the bus.
That is great advice! I love trying new restaurants!
This place looks beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
Does it get crowded? Or is the path you recommend take you to a more private area? Sounds great!
It does get crowded but it’s manageable. It is worth it. I hope you get to check it out.
I really enjoyed your video. It really captured the unique, Italian beauty of the area! And the fun…
This was so thorough. I would love to visit and see this myself.
Hello! We moved to Italy in December and have been locked down pretty much until now. We have the green light to move around in the region and we found this place and decided to go. We want to go tomorrow or Sunday, so I am reaching out for more specifics! I am assuming you did not have a car to park, but where did you catch the bus? And what was the stop to get off? Thanks so much for the video, it made us that much more excited! Also, any other Italian recommendations I would LOVE to hear!
